Riding Instructor - New Hope Community : Job Details

Essential functions:

Schedule and provide therapeutic riding lessons and related activities and monitor attendance to maintain program

Provide full attention to safety of riders and condition of tack

Provide routine ongoing instruction to supporting staff

Plan and design goal oriented lesson program and plans for individuals and group

Conduct regular Horse Barn Trainings for New Hope Staff

Ongoing regular observation of behavior and training for New Hope therapy horses

Confer with program manager on individual progress of riding program participants

Occasional meetings with THRIP Team & other departments when necessary to address program needs

Maintain required trainings and documentation as required on the various systems and logs provided
