RHVAC Technician - Cityfm : Job Details

To repair refrigeration and HVAC mechanical and electrical systems throughout retail locations to support operations and minimize product loss, while ensuring partner satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain refrigeration and HVAC for a group of retail locations.
• Repair equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, electrical and mechanical control devices in a safe, efficient, and timely manner that exceeds customer expectations.
• Establish effective communication with Site Management to keep them informed of all maintenance activities.
• Liaise with Site Management to communicate planned maintenance, diagnose equipment malfunctions, and address operating deficiencies.
• Provide timely job updates.
• Proactively check for refrigerant leaks and perform repairs.
• Maintain all assets under your responsibility to high standards.
• Perform scheduled refrigeration/HVAC preventive maintenance.
• Monitor and log refrigerant usage.
• Maintain clean and safe conditions in machine and electrical rooms.
• Communicate with store personnel to maintain refrigerated product integrity.
• Participate in the company's 'on call' emergency program.
• Assist in troubleshooting problems.
• Complete equipment inventories as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience with rack systems, display cases, and walk-ins preferred.
• Journeyman qualification in refrigeration and HVAC or equivalent experience.
• EPA certification for refrigerant handling (Class I & II or universal).
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Ability to understand and follow English instructions.
• Legal authorization to work in the US or ability to obtain it.
• Successful pre-employment drug and background checks.
• In-depth knowledge of supermarket rack refrigeration, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including Refrigeration Controller Technology, Outlook, and Excel.
• Self-motivated with proven responsibility in previous roles.
• Strong troubleshooting and guest service skills.
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and make quick decisions.
• Exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills.
• High integrity and reliability.

$25.00+ per hour
