Facility in Harrisburg, PA seeking Rheumatology locums coverageRates: $275/hrOpportunity Highlights
  • Consistent Schedule: Work a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
  • Independent Practice: You will work solo and be responsible for managing your own patient panel.
  • Diverse Caseload: Your typical day will involve seeing an average of 12-16 adult patients (100% adult patient mix) with a wide variety of rheumatological conditions.
  • EMR System: The facility uses Epic for charting.
  • Quick Privileging: The estimated time to secure full privileges is 60 days.
Responsibilities
  • Manage a patient panel and assist with the care of other current patients of the practice.
  • Conduct in-person and virtual patient visits. New patient appointments are 40 minutes, and follow-up appointments are 20 minutes.
  • Handle in-basket management, including reviewing and signing therapy plans/infusion orders.
  • Perform laboratory surveillance and medication refills for current patients.
  • Procedures: Perform joint injections.
Provider Requirements
  • Education: MD or DO.
  • Board Status: Board Certified.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience.
  • Licensure: An active Pennsylvania State License is required to apply.
  • Certifications: BLS, DEA, and CSR licenses are required.
  • Commitment: We are seeking a full-time provider but would consider two candidates who can each consistently cover two weeks per month on a regular, ongoing schedule.
