Job DescriptionWe are seeking an RFP Specialist to join our team. The RFP Specialist will be responsible for creating compelling and compliant proposals in response to requests for proposals (RFPs) received by potential clients and consultants around the world. This role involves collaborating with various departments to gather necessary information, ensuring that all proposals meet the client's requirements and deadlines. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, with a strong ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Manage the completion of Request for Proposals (RFPs) and other documents such as Requests for Information (RFIs), Operational Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQs), and quarterly client/consultant requests.
- Collaborate with Investment Management business development and client service staff to compile appropriate information, distinguish William Blair products and services from competitors, and assemble and deliver responses which portray William Blair in the most favorable perspective.
- Work directly with subject matter experts across investment, compliance, and other firm areas to create and update responses.
- Document the status of RFP and consultant questionnaire response workflows and activities. Ensure that requests are completed within established timeframes.
- Maintain the RFP content management system with updated responses. Assist sales and marketing staff in accessing reference information. Respond to ad hoc requests for information.
- Build knowledge of William Blair institutional investment strategies and products. Obtain information on investment philosophy, features and performance of specific investment products.
- Ensure all activities are in compliance with applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field preferred
- 3+ years of experience in an RFP role required; financial services industry experience preferred
- Knowledge of RFP content management applications such as Qvidian, RFP360 preferred
- Project management and prioritization skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate across multiple functions
- Attention to detail and quality
- Knowledge of investment concepts, products and applicable regulations

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range at time of posting is below. Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits. Actual base salary within the specified range is based on several factors, including but not limited to applicant's skills, prior relevant experience, specific degrees and certifications, job responsibilities, market considerations and, if applicable, the location of the position.
This role is eligible for either a discretionary annual bonus (based on company, business unit and individual performance) and/or commission-based incentives.

Salary Range
$77,000 — $95,000 USD
