The Revenue Data & Reporting Analyst plays a critical role in advancing the financial sustainability and strategic growth of the organization through data-driven insights. This position is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and presenting financial, programmatic, and development data to support informed decision-making across departments. Working closely with Finance, Development, and Program teams, the analyst ensures leadership has timely, accurate, and actionable information to guide budgeting, fundraising, and strategic planning efforts. Reporting to the Assistant Director, Business & Revenue Operations, you will:Financial & Strategic Analysis:

  • Create and maintain financial models and reports that support strategic planning, grant applications, and funder reporting.
  • Partner with development, finance, and program teams to track, measure, and analyze programmatic and financial outcomes.
  • Provide regular and ad hoc reporting for funders, grants, board members, and executive leadership.
  • Build and automate dashboards that consolidate data from internal systems (e.g., Salesforce, accounting, planning databases).
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for both general operations and restricted funding.
  • Assist with the development of data frameworks.
  • Analyze market data and funding trends to support business development strategies and potential partnership opportunities.
Data Management:
  • Collect, clean, and organize data from multiple sources, including financial systems, donor databases (e.g., Salesforce), program management tools, and spreadsheets.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness through regular validation and quality control processes.
  • Develop and maintain standardized data definitions, documentation, and reporting protocols to support transparency and alignment across departments.
  • Collaborate with IT and system administrators to manage data access, structure, and integration between platforms.
  • Maintain and update centralized reporting databases or dashboards to ensure real-time visibility of key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Implement and refine processes for data security, privacy, and compliance in accordance with organizational policies and funder requirements.
Reporting and Analytics:
  • Develop, maintain, and distribute recurring and ad hoc reports to support organizational decision-making across Finance, Development, and executive teams.
  • Create clear, actionable dashboards and data visualizations that highlight trends, performance metrics, and strategic insights for internal business partners and leadership.
  • Support grant and donor reporting by compiling relevant data, impact metrics, and financial summaries in collaboration with Development and Program teams.
  • Translate complex data into compelling reports and presentations tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences, including board members and funders.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to program outcomes, fundraising progress, budget performance, and strategic goals.
  • Continuously improving reporting processes by identifying opportunities for automation, streamlining workflows, and enhancing report usability.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, business intelligence, or business development analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, SQL, and at least one data visualization tool (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).
  • Experience with ERP and CRM systems such as Workday, Salesforce, or SAP.
  • Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Knowledge of financial planning and analysis (FP&A) best practices.
  • Exposure to market research.

Base Annual Salary: $78,000 - $90,000 As of the time of this posting, this is the expected base annual salary range. The base annual salary will be based on a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience, as well as business needs and limitations.
