Were on the hunt for our next Retention Specialist. This individual is responsible for supporting the Workforce One program and is primarily responsible for entering, managing and compiling participant data all in the name of understanding retention! As a detail-oriented individual who cares about using data to make things better, the retention specialist champions curiosity and analysis.
The Awesome Things Youll Do
- Conducts retention activities, including employment confirmation tracking, troubleshooting , job coaching. Works in partnership with employer engagement specialists to troubleshoot individual retention challenges.
- Obtains necessary documentation from participant and/or employer for billing purposes.
- Enters participant information & pertinent data in Goodwills internal tracking system and HRAs automated time keeping system.
- Reports participant employment along with obtaining corresponding documents.
- Disburses metro cards to clients and keep an accurate log of all transactions.
- Conducts various methods of participant outreach to reengage employed/underemployed participants.
- Maintains accurate and updated case notes on services delivered.
- Assists with the scanning of participant documentation in Goodwills internal tracking system and HRAs automated time keeping system
- Conducts field visits to obtain pertinent documentation (FIA, EVR e tc ) from employer/participant & provide metro cards.
- Provides monthly retention workshops for employed clients.
- Submits weekly reports as assigned.
- Adheres to HRA/Goodwill organizational and staff policies and procedures.
Our Must Haves
- High School Diploma
- Bilingual.
- Must be flexible to work two late nights per week and every second Saturday of the month.
- Experience in time sensitive projects with strong attention to detail.
- Project and Case Management skills
- Strong interpersonal and customer service experience.
- Experience working within social services or heavy customer service based environment helpful.
- Working knowledge with MS Word.
