Retail Store Associate - Bilingual Preferred - Sherwin-Williams : Job Details

This position is essential to the success of our retail stores. Store associates work closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend solutions. They are expected to resolve customer concerns promptly, ensure client satisfaction, stay updated on product features, and maintain high standards of product quality and store appearance. The role involves achieving excellent customer service and meeting sales goals.

The selected individual will work at the West Seattle Store: Store #708658, located at 7305 Delridge Way SW, Seattle, WA 98106.

This is a Part-Time Role with pay starting at $22.00 per hour.

Job duties include customer contact, which may involve minors; access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, merchandise, and other valuables. Access may be supervised or unsupervised. A criminal history review is required to ensure safety and protect company operations and reputation.

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Legally authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future
• Ability to retrieve materials from shelves and lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends

• Valid, unrestricted Driver's License
• High School diploma or GED
• At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service
• Experience selling paint and related products
• Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
• Ability to communicate in more than one language, including Spanish

• Ensure high customer satisfaction through excellent service
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by identifying needs and suggesting products
• Build trust with customers
• Process sales accurately according to policies
• Meet sales goals regularly
• Maintain accurate work order files and formulas
• Pull products from shelves or warehouse
• Tint and mix products as specified
• Stock shelves and set up displays
• Clean store equipment
