Retail Planner - Komar : Job Details

Komar, a global leader in the design, sourcing, manufacturing, and distribution of high-quality sleepwear, layering, and intimates is seeking an experienced Planner to join our team at our Jersey City, NJ corporate office. We offer a hybrid schedule. Candidates must have the ability to work in our Jersey City, NJ office.

Job Responsibilities include:

• Manage the planning and allocation process for infant, baby and toddler sleepwear.
• Develop and maintain various reporting and analytical tools to meet/exceed sales and financial goals.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends, patterns, and insights; assist teams in researching, understanding, and properly utilizing data assets.
• Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to support business decision-making.
• Consult with our cross-functional teams to make assortment planning decisions based on historical and in-season data.
• Analyze and recap actual sales results to plan and forecast in-season sales and inventory on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc basis.
• Participate in the completion of departmental tasks, ensuring deadlines are met.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of Retail Planning experience. Experience with Retail Link a plus.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and time management skills.
• Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
