Title: Retail Pharmacist Location: Rochester NY Job Type: Per Diem, Part-time Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and closed from 12:00-1:00 PM for lunch (hours may change as needed). Position Summary: Looking for a compassionate, patient-centric pharmacist to manage pharmacy operations by covering or providing overlap for the current pharmacy manager. The goal is to ensure you feel empowered in the role that you play when managing the pharmacy and personnel in conjunction with the pharmacy manager. This position is for a per-diem pharmacist. As a per-diem pharmacist, you will receive the benefit of a retail pharmacy type setting with a Monday through Friday potential schedule. You will be responsible for managing the pharmacy relationship with the health center client. This includes engaging with clinic providers and their clinical staff, providing drug-related education, and acting as a member of the patient care team. As the per-diem pharmacist, you are responsible for demonstrating the highest standard of patient quality care-from advising on prescriptions to helping treat chronic and specialty conditions. In addition, you are responsible for facilitating a team culture that promotes caring, enthusiasm, and pride by leading and directing the pharmacy staff to achieve specific goals. Essential Job Functions:
- Provide support and education to patients on their medications.

Required Education & Licenses:
- Required licensing, credentialing, or certification as applicable.
- Bachelor of Science or PharmD in Pharmacy degree from an accredited university is required.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Previous experience in a retail pharmacy setting.
- 340B knowledge is a bonus but not required.
- 4-5 years of retail pharmacy experience and minimum 3 years of pharmacy management experience.
- Familiar with leading staff.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional patient service skills.
