Job Summary:
The Restoration General Manager (GM) will oversee the daily operations of our Client's Lynchburg, VA branch, ensuring operational efficiency, financial health, and exceptional service delivery. This leadership role involves managing various aspects of the business, including sales, marketing, operations, and emergency response services, while fostering a positive team-oriented culture aligned with our Client's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor team members to build a high-performing, customer-focused team.
- Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and adherence to company standards.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Financial Oversight:
- Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement.
- Manage cash flow, accounts receivable, and maintain relationships with financial institutions.
- Sales and Marketing:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, insurance agents, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure effective marketing campaigns to promote services and brand awareness.
- Emergency Response Services:
- Lead emergency response efforts for disaster-affected properties.
- Coordinate with clients and subcontractors to ensure timely and effective restoration.
- Maintain on-call availability for emergency situations as required.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Maintain high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to uphold company standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role within the restoration industry.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
- Proven sales and marketing abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle emergency situations with professionalism and composure.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
Compensation & Benefits:
- $120,000-130,000 with performance bonus opportunity
