The Dinex Group, a growing restaurant group by Chef Daniel Boulud is seeking a Restaurant Manager for Bar Boulud in New York City's Upper West Side (across from the Lincoln Center).

We are looking for an individual who has passion for the hospitality industry with willingness to learn and grow as a leader. The overview of responsibilities and qualifications are below;

Management Responsibilities

* Report to Assistant General Manager of Bar Boulud and Regional GM of Bar Boulud/Boulud Sud

* Ability to lead by example, including involvement in regular service to our standards and supporting service where required

* Schedule and conduct service training for hourly team members

* Follow the standards while leading purposeful steps of service

* Conduct hourly positions' screening interviews and evaluate qualification

* Suggest and implement innovative guest experience opportunities

* Provide feedback and coaching opportunities for the hourly service team members

* Orchestrate service plan for private events and group dining

* Opening and closing managerial responsibilities

* Fluent knowledge of facilities and Health Department standards

* Floor management - engaging with guests, troubleshooting issues, managing flow of service and management of book and the host team, communicating with the kitchen and dining room team

* Manage discplinary actions upon supervisors' approval, including termination

* Engage with restaurant guests to ensure the highest level of dining experience is provided

Requirments:

* Professionalism

* Problem solving and adapting abilities

* Ability to communicate and manage a diverse staff

Qualifications:

* Prior lead/management experience

* Knowledge of both food and beverage

* Service focused, hospitality minded

* Forbes Service Standards Training is a plus
