Restaurant Bartender - Four Seasons Island Resort : Job Details

You will be in charge of taking drink orders, recommending beer and wine, preparing traditional and unique mixed drinks, and maintaining the bar area so it is clean and sanitary at all times. Responsibilities • Mix and deliver drinks to customers including alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties of wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks • Verify customers' identification age to ensure they are of legal age and provide alcoholic drinks in compliance with federal, state, municipal, and corporate rules and regulations • Order necessary bar supplies, stock and keep track of all wine, liquor, and beer inventories as well as maintain a full supply of glassware and notify management of any shortages • Complete all restocking and cleaning duties by performing opening and closing side work as instructed • Receive payments and settle patron checks and tabs, as well as correctly record daily sales totals in point of sale system Qualifications • Displays impeccable time management and organizational skills • Proven customer service experience with a strong patron-focused mentality • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members • Previous experience working in food service is preferred • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
