Administer advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and provide mechanical ventilation for adults, children and infants Use invasive and noninvasive technology to assist with the diagnosis and treatment of cardiopulmonary disorders Sample (arterial puncture) and analyze arterial blood gas Sample (arterial puncture) and analyze arterial blood gases Inspect, operate, maintain and calibrate respiratory equipment (oxygen equipment, Cpap, ventilators, and blood gas analyzers) and other life support systems. Qualifications include: Must have a minimum of an Associate Degree in Respiratory Care. Bachelor Degree preferred. Must possess a current valid NYS license as a Respiratory Therapy Therapist. Must be currently active and registered with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
