- Licensure: Respiratory Therapist Certification, Respiratory Care Technician, or Respiratory Care Practitioner license required.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 60 days of hire.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) within 1 year of hire.
- Skills: Strong clinical knowledge in cardiopulmonary care, effective communication skills, and ability to work in emergent situations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide cardiopulmonary care services under physician orders and department protocols.
- Assess patient conditions, deliver respiratory therapy, and monitor responses to treatment.
- Participate in emergency response situations and deliver appropriate respiratory interventions.
- Educate patients and families regarding illness management and available resources.
- Maintain and prepare respiratory equipment, supplies, and medical gas cylinders.
- Perform preventative maintenance and calibration of respiratory care devices.
