Description:

Northeast Home Health Respiratory Therapist

Schedule: Full-Time Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm

This is an opportunity for a full-time Registered Respiratory Therapist with experience in providing respiratory care to patients in the home care setting. The respiratory therapist will be responsible for setting up portable oxygen concentrators, CPAPS, BiPAPS, cough assist, and ventilators. The preferred candidate will have experience with home care respiratory therapy but is not required, NEHME is willing to train the right candidate. The position is full time Monday through Friday 8:30AM to 4:30PM with flexibility. It requires one week per month on-call rotation. Comprehensive orientation and trainings are provided. The position requires a clean driving record and use of personal vehicle with reimbursement for mileage.

Education Requirements:

  • Minimum of a two-year associate degree in respiratory therapy.

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist License Required

Experience Requirements:

  • Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist by the New York State Dept. of Education

  • Registered by the NBRC.

  • BLS and ACLS required

  • PALS/NRP recommended

Pay Range: $34.00 - $44.00

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
