Job Summary Our client is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist for a night shift rotation. The candidate should be able to train from 8/24 to 8/29. The role involves a 13-week contract with the potential for extension. The position requires managing respiratory therapy tasks independently, with support staff available as needed. Key Responsibilities
- Complete training during the last week of August and transition to night shift duties starting September 1st.
- Work on an every-other-weekend rotation with a schedule of 4 shifts one week and 3 shifts the next.
- Provide respiratory therapy care as the sole therapist during night shifts, with nurse and CNA support.
- Effectively utilize Matrix Care EMR for charting and documentation.
Qualifications - Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) acceptance.
- Holder of a valid Illinois respiratory therapy license.
- BLS certification required.
Additional Requirements - Schedule includes 12-hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM.
- Able to work independently with backup support, including on-call pulmonologist.
