Facility: Samaritan Medical Center Location: 830 Washington Street, Watertown, NY 13601 Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (Allied) Department: SAM - Respiratory Therapy Type: Permanent, Full-Time Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend Annual Salary: $72,758.40 - $89,752.00 About the Role Samaritan Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will make a meaningful impact by providing exceptional respiratory care and enhancing the quality of life for our patients. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct polysomnography testing under the Medical Director's guidance, including:
  • Routine nocturnal polysomnography
  • Daytime polysomnography
  • Multiple sleep latency testing
• Maintain patient files (paper and electronic) and ensure accurate data entry in patient records and billing systems.
• Apply age-specific care principles to meet each patient's unique needs.
• Assist with EEG patient testing as needed.

Requirements:

• Current BLS certification
• NYS license as RT or RTT (required for oxygen, CPAP, or bi-level titrations)
• Minimum 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience
