Respiratory Supervisor - Appalachian Regional Healthcare : Job Details

The Respiratory Care Supervisor is responsible for directing and coordinating the overall operation of the Respiratory Department. Responsibilities - Licensure by the West Virginia Board of Respiratory Care and BLS certified. - Regards to Respiratory, oversees Cardiopulmonary patients and assesses their condition to determine proper handling and special requirements. - Must possess good oral and written communication skills. Shares knowledge and skills with peers and students. - Reasoning Ability: must have the ability to solve practical problems. Must be able to interpret a variety of instructions; i.e. verbal, written, diagrammatic or in schedule form. - Leadership Skills: Must be proactive and a self-starter. Demonstrates the ability to handle difficult and/or stressful situations calmly and professionally without portraying negative emotion or hostility.
