Salary: $82,512 - $112,027 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy services based on training and experience
- Formulate treatment plans and administer care in line with physicians' instructions and hospital protocols
- Employ advanced respiratory equipment and techniques to aid patient breathing
- Evaluate and monitor patient responses to therapies and modify treatments as necessary
- Maintain patient records with high levels of accuracy and privacy compliance
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care strategies
- Participate in continuous education to remain current with industry practices and technologies
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Graduate of an AMA accredited two-year Respiratory Care Practitioner program or equivalent
- State of Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner Certification/License
- CRT, RRT eligible, or RRT credentials from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Strong understanding of respiratory devices and their operation
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to rotating shifts
- High proficiency in maintaining patient confidentiality and records management
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two years experience in a respiratory therapy role
- Substantial knowledge of different respiratory care procedures and protocols
- Experience in a hospital setting is highly desirable
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with electronic medical record systems
