Resort Housekeeper - Sun Communities : Job Details

OVERVIEWResort Housekeepers are responsible for regularly cleaning resort facilities, buildings and rental properties to ensure the resort remains presentable and sanitary at all times.JOB DUTIES* Cleans, sanitizes, and stocks areas with products as needed. Ensures all tables and chairs are clean and functioning properly* Cleans and sanitizes appliances to ensure they are free of food particles, mold and mildew. Defrosts freezer as needed* Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, ensuring they are well lit, and places rubber mats down to ensure safety* Follows all established safety procedures and precautions. Reports all unsafe or hazardous conditions, incidents, accidents, and/or defective equipment to their manager* Ensures that the overall appearance of the resort, buildings and facilities are well maintained and orderly* Ensures all floors are swept, vacuumed, mopped, waxed, and buffed as needed* Ensures that all windows and screens are clean and functioning properly* Maintains washers and dryers by wiping surfaces, removing lint, etc.* Ensures all offices and buildings are clean and neat. Empties trash containers as needed* Ensures all vents and filters are cleaned and changed as needed* Other duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS* High School Diploma or GED (Required)* 6 months previous experience cleaning homes or other large facilities* Demonstrated knowledge of general janitorial work* Knowledge of safety measures when using various cleaning chemicals* Abilities to lift at least 25 pounds* Basic computer proficiency including the ability to use email and internet* Must have a valid driver's licenseREWARDING BENEFITSAt Sun Outdoors, you will be part of an industry-leading organization where you will be challenged, inspired, rewarded and transformed.
