SHIFTS: Thursday-Saturday 1:00 PM-12:00 AMWednesdays 10:00 AM - 8:00 PMYOUR OPPORTUNITYThe Core Program Manager II (CPM II) is responsible for managing Core Program Manager I's (CPM I) with developing and sustaining a trauma-informed therapeutic cottage environment in collaboration with an integrated, multi-disciplinary team. This position manages the daily program rituals and routines, therapeutic interventions and crisis interventions, acts as an educational liaison, and ensures Community Care Licensing and regulatory compliance.Essential Duties

  • Provides CPM I with coaching, training and mentoring, and in concert with the Associate Division Director (ACDD) and Core Program Director I (CPD I) supports supervision and performance feedback.
  • Supports and develops Youth Care Professionals (YCP) by monitoring training, assessing the transfer of skills and knowledge, mitigates performance concerns, and provides mentoring.
  • Conducts cottage reviews which support the development and maintenance of program routines and standards while anticipating needs related to activities and appointments.
  • Monitors cottage schedules and ensures appropriate staffing.
  • Supports the implementation of routines and rhythms by monitoring program schedules while anticipating needs related to activities.
  • Directs crisis interventions, mobilizes in person, provides support, and ensures actions taken during the crisis are compliant with agency care and supervision standards.
  • Completes reviews of physical restraints within 48 hours of occurrence.
  • Conducts ProAct Training.
  • Attends and participates as a member of the leadership and MDT teams and provides integrated solutions.
  • Supports CPM I in operating cottages within budget limits, monitors expenses and ensures accurate and timely fiscal processing.
  • Applies, teaches, coaches and supervises the following: Aspiranet's STRTP Organizational and Core Practice Model, the Attachment, Regulation and Competency Model (ARC), the Youth Thrive/Strengthening Families Protective Factors Framework, the Community Resiliency Model, (CRM Life Space Crisis Intervention (LSCI) and Professional Assault Crisis Training (ProAct).
  • Develops and supports the implementation of strength-based, trauma-informed plans and interventions and advocates for the youths' best interests.
  • Completes timely written program documentation.
  • Ensures compliance with the Joint Commission (TJC), CCL and applicable regulatory requirements in addition to agency policies and procedures.
  • Reports incidents, grievances, complaints, issues and concerns with documentation to the CPD.
  • Acts on the behalf of the CPM I when needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Your QualificationsMust possess any ONE of the following:
  • One year as a YCP- III with demonstrated performance of essential duties and competencies.
  • A Bachelor of Art's or Sciences Degree; or Master's Degree.
  • Two years of full-time experience, or its equivalent working with the population to be served, or equivalent education or experience, as determined by CDSS.
  • Two years' experience as a member of the social work staff in a group home or STRTP program performing those duties.
  • Have relevant experience as determined by the department to meet any of the above requirements.
  • At least one year of supervisory or management experience.
  • Proficiency using a computer and Microsoft Word, and Outlook.
  • Must meet all state required conditions of employment as set forth by Community Care Licensing for a licensed community care facility, i.e. Fingerprint and Child Abuse Index Clearance, TB/health physical, and a valid California driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Must attend the Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program Administrator Certification class and serve as a certified administrator
