830 Supervised Residential: The Supervised Residential Program provides adults living with substantial levels of mental illness or disability with 24/7 services through recovery-oriented community residential facilities.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills.
- Proficiency in Medicaid Part 140 and documentation standards.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care, recovery principles, and behavioral crisis interventions.
- Effective team leadership, conflict resolution, and staff development abilities.
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provide clinical supervision and oversight of all residential services, ensuring compliance with Medicaid Part 140 and individual treatment plans.
- Serve as the lead Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) onsite, ensuring clinical appropriateness and integrity of services.
- Coordinate and approve client admissions, treatment planning, reviews, and discharges based on medical necessity criteria.
- Implement evidence-based interventions and recovery supports to promote stabilization, skill development, and community reintegration.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
- Monitor documentation for quality and compliance; audit and coach staff accordingly.
- Supervise staff including hiring, onboarding, performance evaluation, and scheduling.
- Provide regular supervision to staff, ensuring competency in recovery practices, behavioral interventions, and crisis prevention.
- Manage staff schedules and provide on-call support as needed.
- Facilitate team meetings and clinical case reviews for proactive care planning.
- Develop policies and procedures to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment.
- Maintain documentation and reporting for program compliance, including licensure standards and audits.
- Track and report program outcomes, census, admissions/discharges, and service utilization.
- Coordinate with leadership on budget, staffing, training, and quality initiatives.
- Lead or support emergency preparedness, incident responses, and client grievance investigations.
