Residential Re-Entry Custodial Specialist (M - F 7A - 3P) - Volunteers of America Chesapeake & Carolinas : Job Details

The Custodial Specialist is responsible for overall cleanliness and sanitation of program facility, unit, shared space, building and grounds. The Custodial Specialist responsibilities include cleaning and disinfecting, waste removal, supplies/inventory, monitoring and/or inspecting life and safety equipment. The Custodial Specialist supports management, operations, contractual requirements, local, state and federal guidelines and regulations. Qualifications REQUIREMENTS: The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent diploma/ GED and at least one-year experience In the provision of custodial services done in according to CDC and OHSA recommendations. Successful applicant must maintain current certification in CPR and First AID once hired. Annual TB testing /screening is required. The position requires that the applicant must be able to lift 50 pounds and the capability of using foot stool/ladder to hang signage, documents and access lighting.
