Oak Hill is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Residential Program Worker (RPW) to provide direct support to individuals with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities. The RPW at Oak Hills Watertown location works 16 hours/week, Fri-Sat 11pm-7am. The RPW provides services based on individual needs, in their home and community, including personal care, household tasks, appointments, vocational services, and community activities. No experience is necessary; applicants interested in entering the direct care field or seeking a career change are encouraged to apply.

  • High school diploma or GED

This is a union position, paying $18.50 $19.40 per hour depending on shift.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, record, and chart data to monitor program and meet policies, procedures, licensing, and certification requirements.
  • Maintain participant cleanliness, comfort, and well-being; assist with personal hygiene and daily living skills.
  • Prepare materials for program activities and projects.
  • Promote self-administration of medications, administer medications, document, and report any issues or changes in behavior or health.
  • Apply Emergency First Aid and CPR procedures to protect participants and staff.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with policies to protect participant information.
