The Residential Program Coordinator's are to provide guidance to the Group Home Managers and their staff on an ongoing basis. In the event of the absence of management in any residence under their coverage, the ARS Program Coordinator will step in and fill that position until management returns.Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
  • Supervise the Residence Managers and other staff in all aspects of the residences.
  • Role model and provide positive supports to the people receiving services, their families and staff.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements from OPWDD, the Justice Center and Medicaid.
  • Monitor and maintain communication and follow-up with all aspects of the individual's program, including day programming, parents/correspondents/guardians, and clinical services
  • Ensure that all issues and/or information is communicated quickly and efficiently to the appropriate persons and the follow-up is done timely and correctly.
  • Ensure that all appropriate record-keeping, billing, residential monies and other such items are done correctly and efficiently.
  • Ensure that all aspects of the programs as well as the physical plant issues are cost effective and are maintained.
  • Ensure that the quality of programming is continually evaluated and improved.
  • Monitor, coordinate, plan, and, if necessary, implement in-service training for staff
Qualifications
  • BA / BS degree in a related field; MA degree preferred
  • 2 years of experience working with the developmentally disabled population
  • 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Must be flexible with work schedule
  • Local travel between sites required
