We're seeking aResidential Managerto oversee one of our residential homes, supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and leading a team of dedicated staff.

This is more than a management role—it's an opportunity to foster independence, inclusion, and dignity for the people we serve.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in providing person-centered care
  • Oversee health, safety, and wellness plans tailored to individual needs
  • Facilitate community inclusion, vocational supports, and lifelong learning
  • Manage scheduling, payroll, and staff development
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and agency policies
  • Maintain facility standards and coordinate inspections
  • Collaborate with families, service providers, and support networks
  • Participate in fundraising and agency-wide initiatives
  • Provide program data in the state's EIS system and respond to RFPs

What We're Looking For:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CDS course completion
  • CRMA certification preferred
  • CPR/FA certification preferred
  • regulatory vaccinations
  • Valid Maine driver's license, reliable transportation, and insurance
  • Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
  • Clean criminal background check
  • High moral character and commitment to ethical principles
  • Experience in residential care or human services preferred

Schedule: Full-time, flexible hours including some evenings/weekends
