Responsibilities

• Abides by and demonstrates the company's Mission, Vision, and Values through both behavior and job performance on a day-to-day basis
• Supervises the provision of assistance to person(s) served to promote their physical, social, and psychological well-being
• Monitors and ensures staff follow agency procedures to promote safety, health care, and behavior supports
• Ensures staff completes all required documentation to ensure quality services
• Supervises staff interactions with persons served to promote their rights and enhance quality of life
• Ensures Material Data Safety Sheets are available for all supplies/chemicals as applicable
• Conducts timely performance reviews
• Maintains a work environment supporting dignity and fair treatment
• Participates in recruitment, hiring, and termination decisions for assigned locations
• Ensures appropriate staff deployment and staffing ratios in compliance with regulations
• Prepares and posts schedules promptly and utilizes staff efficiently
• Oversees staff training, orientation, and maintains records
• Reviews staff documentation and provides feedback
• Trains staff on Material Data Safety Sheets for chemicals/supplies
• Serves as a positive role model and supports staff development
• Conducts staff counseling and corrective actions
• Ensures OSHA compliance and training
• Supports individualization of persons served in living areas
• Implements systems for medical waste management
• Oversees Best in Class initiatives and provides feedback on documentation
• Develops and implements activity schedules for persons served
• Oversees service plan implementation and audit compliance
• Monitors client rights and coaches staff accordingly
• Assists with incident report reviews and responses to emergencies
• Participates in investigations involving persons served and staff
• Monitors labor hours, budgets, and financial documentation
• Ensures a safe work environment and manages injury reports and claims
• Monitors expenses relative to budgets and trains staff on financial controls

Qualifications

• One year of supervisory experience required
• Experience with acquired brain injuries preferred
• Effective communication skills
• Flexible hours and location availability
• Experience managing systems, processes, and people
• Knowledge of relevant regulations
• Ability to use office and adaptive equipment
• Strong organizational skills
• Proven supervisory skills
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory record
