Who We Are Looking For:Are you thePart Time Residential Counselorwe have been looking for? In this position, youwillbe ableto conveyyourpassionforhelping otherswith a dynamic teamby bringing anenergetic and positive approachwhile working with our students!The Merrimack Centeris an Intensive Residential Treatment Program for adolescents that specializes intraumainformed care.The Merrimack Center provides 24-hour comprehensive care including a school on site, a full clinical staff, nursing staff, and direct care staff.Schedules being offered: Friday 3PM-11PM, Saturday 3PM-11PM, and Sunday 7AM-3PMSalary: $21.00/hrDue to the nature of our work and the youth who are depending on us, there are times where overtime may be mandated.JRI Provides The Training So That:

• YOUwill be able to develop your skills in providing enriching daily activitiesfor our studentssuch asarts and crafts,recreational activities including offsite fieldtrips,andmore!
• YOU willbe able to create a safe and therapeuticcommunitybysupporting students in developingandbyrole modelingeffective copingstrategies.
• YOU will helpstudentsdiscover what makes them feel competent and valuedby working with themto develop life skills suchas cooking, banking, vocational skills, and more.Yourday-to-dayworkwillsupport studentsindeveloping a sense of selfandprovide them the skills to be successful in their next steps.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.
• Maintains valid driver's license as transporting students is required.
• Available to work evenings, holidays, weekend shifts as required.
• At JRI, you will learn to provide physical interventions and verbal de-escalations to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for our students!
• Background and driving record checkswill be performed.
