Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment?If YES, we encourage you to applyto our current opening foraResident ServiceCoordinator.Wingate Management Companyisan award-winning leader in real estate management, development, and investment.Position Summary:Therole oftheResident Service Coordinatoris to enable residents to live as independently and self-sufficiently as possible.RSCslink residents to existing services and resources in the community,assistresidents to build an informal support network among themselves, encourage residents to be proactive in meeting their social,psychologicaland physical needs, provide conflict resolutionassistanceasappropriateand seek outassistancewith existing community resources when needed.Build strong relationships with residents and local organizations to support community engagement and resource access.Coordinate services, referrals, and programs that promote self-sufficiency, including financial literacy, job readiness, and youth enrichment.Handle resident concerns, process accommodation requests, and assist with lease violations and conflict resolution.Participate in unit inspections and follow up on issues such as housekeeping or unauthorized occupants.Support community safety efforts and collaborate with local police, resident leaders, and watch groups.Attend meetings, maintain records, ensure confidentiality, and assist with company programs and other duties as assigned.Work Environment:Prolonged periods of timesittingand workingatacomputerProlonged periods of time working on your feetOpenwork area with moderate everyday noiseTravelmayberequiredfor off-site events and for team members assigned to more than one property Our ClientOur company has been delivering excellence for nearly 60years. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer that values and encourages diversity within the workplace.Experience Required for Your SuccessRequired Education and Experience: High School diploma(or equivalent)required;bachelor'sdegree in social work, gerontology or other social sciencepreferred 2 years' experience as a Resident Service Coordinator or Case Manager inan appropriate facilityrequired Experience with networking and relating well with the elderly and underserved populations inan appropriate environmentand arrangingor coordinatingservices as needed Understand and have experience with independent living philosophy Knowledge of theAmerican with Disabilities Act Experience advocating andfacilitatingservices for persons with disabilities andthe elderly Essential Skills and Abilities: Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, writing and computer skills Ability to effectively interact and work with individuals from diverse backgroundsand cultures Attention to detailAbility to multi-task and work effectively in both a team and individual setting Flexibility and ability to manage a complex workload in varied work environments Willingness and ability to work some evenings and weekends Experience with spreadsheet software Knowledge of community-based services Understand the characteristics of the resident population and property in which they serve Understand issues that mayimpactthe differential use of services are socio-economic, age, culture, gender, race, sexual orientation, and others Develop positive relationships with residents Act respectfully, patiently, positively and with consent Upholdvalues of service, transparency, performance, creativity, and community About Wingate: At Wingate Management Company, we've been delivering excellence for nearly 60 years.
