Resident Engineer - AECOM Corporation : Job Details

AECOM is seeking highly qualified Resident Engineers to lead construction inspection and contract administration activities on transportation infrastructure projects throughout New Jersey. Key Responsibilities:Serve as the primary representative on-site, overseeing contractor performance and verifying compliance with project plans, specifications, and applicable regulations. Manage daily inspection activities, field staff, and project documentation. Coordinate with NJDOT, NJTA, municipal stakeholders, contractors, and AECOM project management. Monitor project schedule, budget, and quality metrics, proactively addressing issues as they arise. Review and process contractor submittals, requests for information, and change orders. Prepare progress reports, maintain accurate records, and participate in project meetings. Ensure adherence to safety standards and environmental compliance requirements Qualifications.
