As a Resident Care Aide, you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of the individuals within our community. Your duties will involve assisting residents with daily living activities, offering emotional support, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with daily tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal assistance.- Support residents with mobility and ensure their physical needs are met.- Administer medication as prescribed and maintain accurate records of any treatments or care provided.- Engage with residents in activities and conversations to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.- Monitor residents' health and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.- Ensure a clean and sanitary environment for residents by following facility protocols.- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care plans tailored to individual residents.- Maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification as a nursing assistant or similar is a plus.- Previous experience in a caregiving or healthcare setting is preferred.- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.- Ability to exhibit patience, empathy, and compassion when dealing with residents.- Basic understanding of healthcare procedures and regulations.- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

Physical Requirements:

- Capability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.- Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
