Position SummaryThe Resident Assistant, or RA, is a caregiver providing assistance to residents under the supervision of the LPN and/or RN. Resident Assistants provide compassionate care that is respectful of each resident's needs, values and wishes.
Principal ResponsibilitiesResident Assistants provide the following nursing services under the supervision and direction of an LPN or RN across the continuum of care at SPHP.
Must possess patience, empathy and a genuine desire to help others. High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in senior care, health care or assisted living preferred, but not required.
Must Be Able To:$16.70 - $24.20 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
