Job Summary: The Resident Artist - Creative Production Coordinator is a dynamic role that combines creative design expertise with production coordination skills. This position is responsible for developing guest-facing venue signage and visual materials, while also managing scheduling, rehearsals, and live production elements for onsite entertainment events and shows. The ideal candidate will seamlessly integrate artistic vision with operational efficiency to enhance the overall guest experience. Key Responsibilities: Creative Design & Visual Communication: • Design and produce all on-site signage, wayfinding systems, and visual materials that align with the venue's branding and enhance guest navigation. • Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to ensure consistency across all visual communications. • Manage the production and installation of signage, ensuring timely updates for events and seasonal changes. • Utilize industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) to create and modify designs, layouts, and templates. Production Coordination & Show Management: • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules, coordinating timelines for rehearsals, any technical setups, and live performances. • Serve as a key liaison between entertainment leadership, technical crews, and performers to ensure seamless communication and execution. • Support organizing and facilitating rehearsals, ensuring all logistical elements are in place for efficient run-throughs. • Assist in the coordination of live events, overseeing the execution of production elements and troubleshooting any on-site issues • May be required to step in as performer lead and/or to perform roles on an as-needed basis. • Perform other duties as assigned. Administrative & Operational Support: • Maintain comprehensive records of production activities, including schedules, design drafts, and technical specifications. • Manage inventory of art materials and signage supplies, procuring resources as needed. • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and venue policies during all production activities. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, performing arts, education, or a related field preferred. • 5+ years of experience in live entertainment performance or theater acting, singing or dancing. • Minimum of 3 years' experience in production coordination and/or graphic design within a live entertainment or theatrical setting. • Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and familiarity with production scheduling tools (e.g. 7Shifts). • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across diverse teams. • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules. • Familiarity with venue operations and guest services within an entertainment context. • Ability to adapt design concepts to various formats and scales, from digital displays to large-format signage. • Ability to think on your feet and respond quickly in dynamic, guest-facing or live performance situations. • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical & Environmental Demands: • Able to distinguish colors and see both up close and at a distance • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds • Able to use manual dexterity, gross motor skills, and fine motor skills • Must be able to walk at least 10,000 steps per shift, including stairs, inclines, and declines • Able to pivot, transition between seated and standing positions, kneel, stoop, and lift throughout shifts • Able to work in confined spaces • Comfortable working in loud, distracting environments • Able to multitask and work efficiently with speed, accuracy, and composure in a fast paced, high-volume restaurant and entertainment venue under pressure Applications accepted until 9/16/2025Pay Range: $29 - $33 per hour
