Residence Counselor - LAKESIDE HOUSE : Job Details

Lakeside House, Inc., Community Residence, provides services and a supportive community to people experiencing challenges in maintaining their mental health and a stable living environment. We help people improve their quality of life and achieve their highest level of independence.

Under supervision this position will.

* Provide supports and services which involve advocating for our residents

* Encourage, guide and teach individuals in expressing personal choice.

* Ensure community integration.

* Coach and encourage individuals to develop daily living skills.

* Provide a clean safe and comfortable environment.

* Work with other staff to carry out and record care plans.

* Administer medication in accordance with special instructions.

Hours and Responsibilities: Tuesday overnight shift, 1:00 PM - 10:00 AM; Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM - 3:00PM

Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED, at least. An Associates Degree and 2 years' experience working with individuals with psychiatric disabilities, preferred but not required.

Valid NYS Driver s License required, must be able to perform CPR and light duties around the house.

$500 Sign on bonus after 6 months of continuous employment.
