** Reservations & Leisure Sales Manager**

- Aspen, CO business_center Full-time Salary: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 Annually Application Deadline: Feb 15, 2022 Food & Hospitality The Reservations & Leisure Sales Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the reservations department and manage The Gant's partnerships with international and domestic tour accounts.**POSITION SUMMARY**

This position will oversee the general office administration, manage the reservations supervisor and reservations agents, assist in solving customer problems, execute all necessary reporting and training; travel to select trade shows and industry events, conducts international and domestic sales calls, target/prospect new clients while developing, maintaining and growing existing relationships.

**HIRING BONUS: $500 on your second pay check and $500 after 90 days** (for new hires)

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Manage the daily operations and efficient running of the reservations department.

* Provide direction and leadership to the reservations team, assisting them to achieve their sales potential and achieve overall departmental and hotel objectives.

* Demonstrate an in depth knowledge and understanding of the hotel systems that includes and is not limited to Spring Miller, Navis, Synxis, Revinate, etc.

* Manage and maintain the daily reservations checklist to ensure that all departmental procedures are consistently being executed.

* Ensure the reservations department adheres to call quality standards and guidelines.

* Continually focus on call conversion scores and increase percentages when possible.

* Provide phone support as needed to maintain consistent phone coverage during normal business hours.

* Consistently assign units fairly and accurately according to the Rotation Report.

* Assists the reservations supervisor with hiring, training and scheduling.

* Handles customer complaints or concerns.

* Ensures accurate and timely billing in relation to guest payments and travel agent commissions.

* Maintain working and friendly relationships with all Gant homeowners and repeat guests.

* Sets and manages the reservations budget in coordination with the reservations supervisor.

* Assist the director of sales and marketing in developing and executing the annual marketing plan.

* Assist the director of sales and marketing with travel industry sales efforts. This includes building and developing relationships with tour operators, travel agents and any other potential hotel partner.

* Attend select domestic and international conferences and sales trips in conjunction with the director of sales and marketing.

* Analyze sales statistics to determine business growth potential.

* To perform all other related duties/projects/reports as outlined by the director of sales and marketing and the general manager

* To maintain a neat, clean, and safe work environment.

* To keep up jovial relations with all co-workers in order that the Gant corporate culture is an enjoyable one.

* To assist any co-worker when asked for assistance.

* Other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

* College degree preferred.

* Two years of Gant experience, or prior reservations management experience.

* Familiarity with basic business practices in order to provide a framework for making strong and rational business decisions.

* Effective communication both verbally and written in English, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner. Bilingual a plus.

* Time management and organizational skills to oversee simultaneous tasks and projects, both self-motivated and assigned.

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Springer Miller Systems in addition to a general understanding and familiarity of computers and the ability to learn new software packages.

* Functional knowledge of basic accounting and mathematical skills in order to analyze reports and understand billing practices.

* Analytical and abstract thinking skills to quickly evaluate selling and customer service situations and react appropriately.

**WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**

* Predominantly indoor office-oriented deskwork involving the use of computers, and the telephone.

* Travel will be required occasionally.

* High levels of stress will be present when negotiating with unhappy guests.

* Heavy lifting is required from time to time when supplies are needed from storage and when assisting Bell Staff with luggage.

**STATUS**: Exempt, Full-time Regular (applications accepted for anticipated start date in March, April, or May)

**HIRING RANGE:** $70,000 - $80,000 annually
