Researcher - Aquent Talent : Job Details

As a key member of the research team, you will play a vital role in driving user-centered design for a groundbreaking product. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design, product management, and engineering, to ensure research insights are integrated throughout the product development lifecycle. Responsibilities:

• Conduct user research using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods, including ethnographic studies, user interviews, usability testing, and surveys.
• Develop and execute research plans, from defining research objectives to data analysis and reporting.
• Translate complex research findings into actionable insights and recommendations that inform product strategy and design decisions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align research efforts with product goals and priorities.
• Present research findings to stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
• Contribute to the development of user personas, journey maps, and other research artifacts.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience in user experience, applied research, or product development; or Master's degree with 2+ years of experience; or PhD with relevant experience.
• Proven experience conducting various research methodologies, including in-depth interviews, focus groups, concept testing, and usability testing.
• Demonstrated ability to translate research findings into strategic narratives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• Experience in consumer products, consumer insights, or product development.
• Academic background in a human behavior-related field such as Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Neuroscience, Communication, Information Science, Media Studies, Computer Science, or Economics.
• Experience working on zero-to-one research projects.
• Consulting experience at leading design firms.
• In-house tech experience.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $32.83 to $36.48 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
