Research Technician, Kentsis Lab - Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center : Job Details

Include:Laboratory Support: Prepare and maintain lab equipment, instruments, reagents, chemicals, and other essential supplies. Techniques & Assays: Perform specialized procedures, such as mammalian tissue culture lentivirus transduction, genetic cloning, immunoassays and molecular purifications, and experiments, which may be moderate to complex with increasing independence. Animal Handling: Breed and handle genetically engineered mice, perform autopsy and xenografting. Data Management: Record and analyze research data, prepare reports, and perform basic analyses using mathematical and statistical modeling. Help to prepare presentations and written articles for publication. Collaboration: Assist peers and researchers with ongoing projects, fostering a team-oriented, supportive environment. Key Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in natural sciences. Proven biological laboratory skills and the ability to handle diverse tasks in a research setting. Ability to commit for 2 years.
