Research Technician B - Albert Einstein College of Medicine : Job Details

The person will:Perform a moderate number of simple or moderate technical procedures;Primary responsibilities include:Set up and organize lab equipment and supplies and perform sound and system calibrations. Adhere to all policies and procedures governing the ethical conduct of human subjects research. Collect data for behavioral and EEG experiments. Post-processing of EEG and behavioral data for analyses. Data management, quality control, and recording keeping, including creating graphs, figures, and tables. Require occasional guidance;Occasionally be responsible for ordering routine supplies; Rarely modify technical procedures;Rarely train other lab members;Rarely guide other lab members; A simple / limited understanding of scientific literature and the research goals and rationale is required; Occasionally analyze data;Rarely interpret data;Rarely make written contributions to papers and grant proposals.
