Research Scientist I - Health Research : Job Details

Health Research, Inc. is seeking a Research Scientist I to work within the Wadsworth Centers Division of Environmental Health Sciences. The incumbent will analyze clinical samples for selected agents of chemical terrorism utilizing various analytical methods on instruments such as Liquid Chromatography Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/ MS) and Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS). The incumbent will also maintain appropriate laboratory documentation, prepare quality control samples, process data, prepare reports and standard operating procedures, and participate in other appropriate related duties. This position will be part of a dynamic team serving the Wadsworth Centers mission in the New York State Department of Healths efforts to protect and promote the health of New Yorks citizens.
