Physical Requirements Sitting for long periods of time, repetitive motion. Shift Monday - Friday; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm/40 hrs/week, some evenings & weekends may be required. Job Summary The University of Kentucky Centers for the Environment and Appalachian Research in Environmental Sciences seeks a Research Project Manager to oversee and manage Center-wide administration and operations. The Research Project Manager will provide the role of Center Administrator for the P30 awarded UK-CARES, responsible for all fiscal and budgetary management, human resources, facilities, resource management, effort coordination, implementations, project management, and operations. Will also manage all fiscal expenditures, compliance, budgets and reconciliations for the Center for the Environment. The position will serve as advisor to Center Executive Leadership will also supporting all Core Leaders, multiple internal and external Advisory Boards, multiple Member lists. The position will also oversee all marketing and communication strategies, processes, and platforms, while additionally maintaining all project management and qualitative platforms and needs. Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Microsoft Office Suite. Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? Yes Preferred Education/Experience Masters degree in Public Administration or similar field preferred.
