Research Lab Manager - Texas Tech University : Job Details

Performs specialized work in the planning, and conducting cell, molecular and animal experimentation, training students and other lab members, at the School of Veterinary Medicine (SVM), under the supervision of a faculty. Responsible for participating in, planning, scheduling and/or supervising lab activities, and overseeing lab safety and compliance with EHS guidelines and policies. Work is performed under general supervision with evaluation based on accomplishment of assigned objectives and overall effectiveness of project. Supports SVM faculty in managing the lab, training students and other lab members. Performs cell, molecular and animal experiments, and reports to an SVM faculty. Performs specialized work in planning, coordinating, and conducting research. Oversee lab safety and operations consistent with EHS and OLAC/ IACUC guidelines and policies.
