With a strong focus on innovation, the Research Group “Quantum Technologies and Laser Reference” specializes in ultra-stable lasers, precision metrology and frequency combs. As Project Lead R&D Laser Reference, you will play a key role in developing next-generation frequency combs for advanced laser reference technologies.

• Hands-on development of frequency combs and laser reference solutions
• Supporting experiments involving frequency combs in a cross-functional team
• Ensuring timely achievement of key technical objectives
• Extended data analysis
• Presentation of key results at conferences and exhibitions

• a completed university degree (Master's) in physics, photonics, or a related field
• at least 2 years of hands-on experience with frequency combs or ultrafast fiber lasers
• an ambitious mindset for driving a novel comb concept towards a product
• a proven track record of success and innovation in complex R&D projects
• strong communication skills in English; German is a plus
