Research Engineer I - Bentley Systems : Job Details

The Research Engineer will work in the Offshore design group to develop and maintain Bentley offshore software products. This includes the development of software specifications following different design code documents and practices, development of numerical algorithms for engineering and general mathematical calculations and assisting a team of programmers to implement different engineering design modules for Offshore products. Responsibilities: Programming and documenting of numerical algorithms for engineering and general mathematical calculations in the software Troubleshooting engineering design modules to support the technical support group, and provide technical documents and guidance for SACS users Developing and expanding post-processing capabilities for Bentley offshore products Contributing to a team that develops advanced finite element analysis software used in cross-product solutions Developing post-processing solutions for structural design codes such as API RP 2 A, AIS...Research Engineer, Engineer, Technical Support, Research, Processing, Software, Technology
