Research Data Engineer II - The University of Rochester : Job Details

This position is for a highly skilled professional who is a self-starter and able to work independently with minimum guidance. This role will lead the build and maintenance of the Urology departments centralized database to add to the knowledge of the scientific community to enhance research and discovery and improve patient care. They are responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of analytical and data science-based software and data pipelines to support scientific workflows. This position will be a part of the Urology department, reporting to the Research Operations Manager, but will have support from the Wilmot IT team under Eric Snyder. They will leverage the Hyperion Datawarehouse and pipelines and build a space for Urology that has data relevant to cancer and benign disease on patients seen by Urology providers.
