Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Research Coordinator. The Research Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting the Healthcare Equity and Retention in Obstetrics and Gynecology (HERO) Project, a national, multi-method research initiative addressing reproductive healthcare equity and physician workforce well-being. This position is ideal for someone with strong data management skills and research experience who is also highly organized and collaborative. The HERO project integrates quantitative and qualitative data to investigate how regional healthcare policies, organizational practices, and individual physician experiences influence physician retention, engagement, and patient access to care in OBGYN. The Research Coordinator will contribute to data management and analysis, coordination of research activities, communication with stakeholders, and overall project support.
Job Responsibilities:

Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree in public health, social science, healthcare, or a related field. 1-2 years of relevant research experience, including experience with data analysis and project coordination. Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and statistical software (e.g., STATA, R, or SPSS). Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with healthcare workforce or health disparities research. Familiarity with IRB processes and human subjects research. Comfort working with multiple large datasets and survey-based research. Interest in reproductive healthcare and clinician well-being. Experience in large, hierarchical institutions, excellent interpersonal and written/oral communications skills required along with tact and diplomacy. Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and statistical software (e.g., STATA, R, or SPSS).

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $64,350.00 - $68,000.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
