    Job Description

    Responsible for developing, negotiating, and managing clinical trial budgets for the College of Medicine's Center for Clinical Research Management (CCRM). Tasks include creating internal research budgets, negotiating external sponsor budgets, collaborating with clinical staff to determine research costs, overseeing budget forms, and ensuring billing compliance. The role involves managing sponsor invoicing, tracking invoices, administering project budgets, reviewing research bills, managing personnel payments, reconciling expenses, overseeing trial close-outs, and ensuring adherence to fiscal policies. The analyst will also create online study calendars reflecting protocol details.

    Minimum Education Required

    Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in business administration or accounting.

    Required Qualifications

    1-2 years' experience in financial accounting or budgeting, ideally in healthcare.

    Preferred Experience

    Experience with research budget and contract management, negotiating grant budgets, knowledge of OSU research accounting policies, and advanced financial software skills are preferred.

    Successful completion of a background check is required. Pre-employment physical and drug screen may be necessary.
