Position: Research Associate

We are seeking a Research Associate for a full-time, onsite role, with a competitive hourly rate based on experience. Initially offered as a 6-month contract, there is potential for conversion to permanent employment.

Overview:

The successful candidate will generate influential datasets to propel our oncology drug discovery efforts and contribute to the advancement of our drug pipeline. Projects will include preclinical biomarker research and exploration of the mechanisms of action (MoA) of novel small molecule drug combinations.

### Key Responsibilities:

- Independently design and execute studies to elucidate MoA for biomarker identification related to small molecule therapies under managerial supervision.

- Lead experimental efforts to identify new therapeutic pairings, informed by a solid understanding of the biology involved.

- Optimize assays for quality control, ensuring prompt and high-caliber data output.

- Analyze and present data clearly during team collaborations.

- Participate in initiatives to adopt cutting-edge technologies for complex cell-based assays and biomarker identification.

- Undertake additional tasks and projects as required.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree with at least two years of relevant research experience, preferably in an industry setting.

- Familiarity with oncology, cellular processes, signaling pathways, pharmacology, and cell cycle regulation.

- Proficiency in various in vitro techniques including cell culture, cell viability/growth assays, qPCR, and more.

- Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver on multifaceted projects.

- Strong software skills (e.g., MS Office, GraphPad Prism, FlowJo).

- Exceptional attention to detail, with excellent time management, multitasking, and prioritization abilities.

- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

- Organized and adaptable to a dynamic biotech environment.
