Join Dr. Hsin-Jung Yang and their research group as a Research Associate I!
The mission of the Yang Lab is to develop advanced imaging solutions for pathological activities in the heart and noninvasively detect, diagnose, and monitor cardiovascular diseases. The team has developed cutting-edge MRI technologies, including a needleless method for myocardial ischemia detection called cardiac fMRI (cfMRI). cfMRI utilizes oxygenation-sensitive MRI signals and controlled coronary artery stimulations to detect impaired coronary artery function without ionizing radiation, exogenous contrast agents, and pharmacological stress agents. This needleless approach offers a minimally risky examination for millions of patients with potential myocardial ischemic diseases, avoiding the harms associated with standard clinical exams.
