The Patteson Lab in the Physics Department at Syracuse University is seeking a Research Assistant Professor (Ra. P) to join their group. The Ra. P will lead and engage in research activities in the field of cell motility and cell mechanics. The Ra. P will write their own manuscripts, prepare materials for new grant applications, and manage laboratory equipment. Two years minimum of postdoctoral training or equivalent is required. Qualifications PhD in Physics, Engineering of other closely related field. Minimum two-years of post-doctoral or professional experience required. Job Specific Qualifications Not Applicable Responsibilities Developing and conducting experimental studies on the role of vimentin in cell motility and cell mechanics.
