Research and Development Test Engineer - K2 Partnering Solutions : Job Details

Our client is seeking a Research and Development Test Engineer for an onsite contract opportunity in the Minneapolis area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and support HVAC test cells, instrumentation, and data acquisition software
• Develop and execute test plans, analyze results, and report findings
• Lead projects involving upgrades to existing test equipment and new setups
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development and lab techs
• Maintain quality standards and improve lab testing processes
• Interpret engineering drawings and testing standards

Must-Have Skills:

• Bachelor's in Engineering + 6–8 years experience
• Strong understanding of vapor-compression refrigeration and HVAC systems
• Hands-on experience with RTDs, thermocouples, flow meters, pressure transducers
• Familiarity with data acquisition systems, automated test setups, and LabVIEW
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
